Community youth class at Cesar Chavez Park, Compton, CA

Two of our artists, Shanelle Brigham and Omari Quarles, joined the Parks and Recreation staff of Long Beach to give a series of children's classes.

Annual event

Kwanzaa: LA Edition

One of our proudest accomplishments is our annual Kwanzaa celebration. Every year we invite artists from our community who practice afro-diasporic  music and dance, from countries such as Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Colombia, to perform their craft. This event celebrates our common African ancestry while also upholding traditions as proud Americans.
